Location and climate
Located south of Agadir, halfway between Tiznit, the silver city, and Sidi Ifni, a large fishing port, you’ll follow the foothills of the Anti-Atlas Mountains, through argan tree oases. Around a bend, the sea reveals itself with miles of fine sandy beaches.
When beaches and high cliffs meet, you’re in Mirleft.

The Prince of Turnips
Mirleft, a small town of 3,000 inhabitants, is protected from mainstream seaside tourism. Its main street, lined with blue arcades, houses cafes and local craft shops. In true Berber tradition, politeness, respect, smiles, and a warm welcome characterize the men and women you’ll encounter during your stay in Mirleft, or “The Prince of Turnips” in Berber.

The history of this small village, with its recent construction, dates back to the colonial era, when Morocco was divided between the French and Spanish protectorates. Built in 1935, the Tidli military fort offers exceptional views of both sea and land.
Every year in November, the international short film festival “Cinema and the Sea” brings together artists from over 25 countries.

Excursions to the land of the Argan trees
Welcome to the land of Argan trees, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO; you will walk for 2 to 5 hours and a maximum elevation gain of 300 meters, accompanied by a guide through the oases of Argan trees, tuyas or junipers. Its fruits contain a seed from which the famous Argan oil is extracted, so precious for body care and so tasty in salads.
Fishing
Whether you’re a fishing enthusiast or a beginner, you’ll enjoy the fishing opportunities available, whether from the shore or on a boat. Depending on the season, you’ll be delighted by the variety of fish available, including sea bream, sea bass, croaker, red bream, and an abundance of lobsters and crayfish. If you’re unlucky enough not to catch them, you’ll find them at a low price (incredibly low) at the fish market.
Horse riding
You will enjoy horseback riding on the long beaches or on the mountain trails.
Quads
Some thrills on these machines which will allow you to discover the hinterland, magnificent landscapes to escape.
Berber meeting
After a two-hour donkey ride through the hinterland of vast hills dotted with cacti, palm trees, and argan trees, you’ll arrive at a traditional Berber family home. You’ll admire the women using their mills to crush argan nuts to extract their oil. What better way to end this journey than with a traditional Berber couscous?
